I wrote this album after dealing with addiction issues, and having had a 7 year relationship end with my partner getting addicted to heroin and robbing me. I was a little dethatched from reality. I was very into conspiracy theories, and even tried to communicate with aliens telepathically lol. I had just got done writing two albums the year before (one of which is lyrically my best ever), and was losing a little steam lyrically. I focused on weird vibes and strange instrumentals.
