I recorded this record while living in a log cabin with my brother during some very strange times for me. I was heavily addicted to spice, and very dethatched from reality. I think a lot of this album was a desperate attempt to feel normal with songs like "Wooden Castle" which was about all my friends back in Pittsburgh, and how much I missed the life we all shared together there. The sound was influenced by all the mountain music being played at local spots. It's a neat little record, but goddamnn if I hadn't been so high all the time it could've been great.
